You can do all of these things at the same time by joining us at compARTE’s Charity Art Show benefiting Little Artist BIG ARTIST. The show’s exhibiting artists have graciously donated a piece of art to be raffled, with proceeds going to Chula League.

Show Austin you value our children and art education
We love the name “Amplify Austin” because that’s what we do. Our professional artist-mentors help children amplify their creativity, expand their skills and grow their confidence. Big Artists guide Little Artists through all stages of the business of art: from developing ideas, to turning ideas into an art piece, to learning how to merchandise, market and sell their work.
Help us add more Little Artist BIG ARTIST schools!
If you’ve made your Amplify donation, thank you for being amazing! We’re feeling the love! If you haven’t made a gift yet, may we nudge you along?
You can Amplify art in East Austin
In 2008, Chula League’s Little Artist BIG ARTIST program had only one participating school, five Little Artists and five Big Artists. This year, we have four schools, 29 kids and 23 Big Artists! We want to raise $1,500 to add a school and bring FREE art lessons and mentoring to even more East Austin kids next year. You can help make that happen by donating through Chula League’s Amplify Austin page (http://bit.ly/ampchula) .
** WE’VE BEEN CHALLENGED!
————————————————————
We just got word that an anonymous donor has pledged to match every donation dollar-for-dollar if we reach our goal of $1,500! So your Amplify donation has double the power to provide mentoring to even more Little Artists. Help us (http://bit.ly/ampchula) meet the challenge!
** KICK IT OFF TOGETHER

Volunteers Make The Fair!
Our fair would not be possible without dedicated volunteers who donate their time year after year to make Cherrywood Art Fair one of the most successful not-for-profit fairs in Central Texas. They volunteer for many reasons but it’s not always to simply help the fair be successful or to gain event experience. More often than not, they volunteer to ensure that profits from the fair continue to support Chula League’s Little Artist BIG ARTIST arts mentoring program. Unlike other fairs, profits from artist applications, booth fees, sponsorships and donations support a truly amazing after-school arts program that pairs East Austin 5th and 6th graders with professional artists. Together, they learn about, and participate in the creative process – with amazing results. You can see their work every year at the Spring Art Show or at the Cherrywood Art Fair silent auction. Many of our volunteers think that’s pretty cool and so do we!
So today, and everyday, we thank our volunteers. We are humbled by their giving hearts, support of local art and dedication to the laBA program!
