How do I add an image to existing News & Events posts?

Review News & Events page to find which posts are missing thumbnail images while logged into backend. Open post and select “Edit Post” from top dashboard. 

Review that all the appropriate Categories are checked in right sidebar. Not only your users can easily find your content, it also boosts your site’s SEO.

Next, scroll down to bottom right to click on “Set Featured Image” to add a post thumbnail.

When in the Featured Image popup, you can choose to search media items in the Media Library or Upload Files. New image minimum size is 900px wide by 300px tall, optimal is 1080 pixels on the LONGEST side @ 133 pixels/inch. Keep total image size under 1MB. When done, select “Set featured image” button.

When you are ready, click Update button.
