How do I add artists to the Year Artists page?

The current year’s Artists (e.g. 2018 Artists) top level page is populated through the DV Team menu option in the WordPress backend. Each artist that is accepted into the Fair needs to be added via the “Add new member” sub-menu item in DV Team. You can also just edit any previous artists if they are returning from the year before.

To Add a New Artist:

• Select DV Team–>”Add new member”
• Fill in the Artist’s Business Name for the title
• Select “Link” for the post type under Format menu on the right.
• Choose the category that the Artist applied under in the Categories menu on the right.
• Choose “Set Featured Image” and choose the artists Featured Image photo from the Media Library (search by CAF Anon ID number), or upload it if it is not in the library
• Under the section “Post Format: Link”, paste in the URL of the Artist’s page on the Chula site.
  
  You can find this link by either copying the Permalink while in an individual Artist record or looking at the “Artists” section of WordPress, then finding the business name from the list of “Published” artists. Look for the word “view” under the listing of the artist in question. Right click on the word “View”, and select “Copy Link Location”.
