Kathy Murray and the Kilowatts

Murray developed her vision of the blues in the formative days of the Austin music scene, jamming with luminaries like Stevie Ray Vaughan, W.C. Clark, and members of the Fabulous Thunderbirds. A blues singer and songwriter par excellence, wowing audiences with a tremendous live show, and sharing the stage with everyone from Albert Collins to Koko Taylor. Murray has won the Australian Blues Association’s “Chain Award”

Elizabeth McQueen

Born in Little Rock and raised in Columbia, Maryland, Elizabeth McQueen started her music career 14 years ago in Austin and making name for herself as one of the music city’s most infectious voices. She’s recently returned to full time life in Austin, after 8 and half years on the road with Asleep at the Wheel, During her time with the Wheel. she traveled over a million miles in 20 countries and played over a thousand gigs with the band.

Flamencura Music and Dance

Flamencura Music & Dance Studio was opened in 2010 by Olivia and Isai Chacon in order to share flamenco dance and music with the Austin community through classes and events. Located in North Central Austin, Flamencura is home to dance classes and workshops for all ages, as well as exciting flamenco events. The studio is also home to A’lante Flamenco Ensemble, voted Austin’s Best Dance Ensemble by the Austin Critics’ Table in 2014. Flamencura students learn the joys of expressing themselves through public dance performances, and thrill audiences with their technique and passion for dance!
