Welcome to Cherrywood Art Fair, the longest-running not for profit art fair in East Austin!

Cherrywood Art Fair is an art filled two-day event showcasing local artists, live music, kids activities and great food in a free, family-friendly environment. More than 8,000 visitors stroll through the fairgrounds looking at art, listening to beautiful music and sampling some of Austin’s quirkiest food trailer cuisine.

The Fair was created in 2002 at Asbury Methodist Church with a mere 10 artists but quickly moved to its current home of Maplewood Elementary the next year. It has been no easy task growing over 17 years to over 85 artists plus 10 performance groups, 7 food vendors and an ever expanding troop of community partners. But Cherrywood Art Fair has its roots in a group of passionate art lovers who wanted to give Central Texas artists an affordable but trendy setting to share their work with during the holiday season and the love our staff and volunteers gives shows with every Fair.

Proceeds from Cherrywood Art Fair fuel Chula League’s art programs that sustain the arts in East Austin.
